Suave Re-Brand
Suave started in 1937 as a hair tonic. After expanding their products, they were bought by Unliever in 1996. Suave is known as one of the first salon-quality hair care products available to the general public at an affordable price. Their products are made for everyone, and consist of hair care, body washes, lotion, and deodorant.
After a thorough investigation, I concluded the current Suave brand does not reflect its products’ qualities and luxurious reputation. It is visually outdated and mediocre. In this project I updated and modernized the Suave logo to elevate the brand to a more luxurious, refined, and professional appearance. This change will create a broader market appeal, while allowing the traditional low prices of the brand’s products to be maintained.
